South Africa becomes the second country to launch the proudly African produced smartphone. Maraphones launch their second factory in Durban, South Africa. It has been said 'Africa produces what it does not consume, and consumes what it does not produce', and the Mara group aims to change this Narrative. The Rwandan based company launched two smartphones on Monday. The Mara X and Mara Z uses Googles android and is looking to compete with the likes of Samsung And Huawei in the near future.
