Bertinelli got her big break in 1975 when at the age of 15 she landed a role on the television sitcom "One Day at a Time," which led to nationwide fame as a teen starlet, and two Golden Globe Awards.<br/> <br />After nine seasons on "One Day at a Time," she went onto a number of roles in made-for-TV movies, guest starring appearances on numerous programs, and a two-decade-plus marriage to rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen, which ended in 2007. She now stars in ensemble comedy show "Hot in Cleveland" alongside Betty White, who attended the star's unveiling.<br/> <br />Speaking at the ceremony, Bertinelli reflected on her years in show business with humility: "You've filled my heart, and remind me again and again of what an amazingly privileged life I have," said Bertinelli.<br/> <br />"I'd like to add that maybe a sense of grace is also essential, and I will do my best to tow the line and keep my feet right where they're supposed to be.... And finally I want to invite everybody to please come to my star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame, come by, step on me, walk all over me, I would be honored.
